Axel's first Hill Climbing Clinic held May 17 and 18, 2008, was a tremendous success! Twenty riders joined Axel to learn how to climb efficiently, do strength training workouts and learn speed work and bike positioning.

The participants came from many different areas and included Vancouver Canucks hockey star Trevor Linden, who joined the group in order to share in Axel's tremendous wealth of bicycling knowledge.
